WE GOT IT! The first no-kill animal rescue center and sanctuary in Cebu Province! Located in Danao City, less than two hours from Metro Cebu, we not only have 1 3/4 hectares of raw land but also a large dormitory-style building which makes a great indoor kennel, staff quarters and office. However, we need some help financing some very necessary renovations and repairs. Read More (and see pictures!)

"It Takes a Village" to help animals. Since IRO can not bring any more cats or dogs to the Mini Rescue Center at this time, IRO encourages individuals to do what they can to help rescue stray and abandoned animals. Join the IRO Foster Program to care for these animals while they are waiting to be adopted. The more Fosters IRO has, the more lives we can save. Join the IRO Village today!

The "IRO Ninong/Ninang Program" is being launched soon. Its purpose will be to recruit sponsors of individual cats and dogs at the Rescue Center. They would agree to send a regular, monthly donation for that animal's nutritional and health care expenses. There will be a signed agreement between the ninong (godfather) or ninang (godmother) and IRO. A packet containing information about the sponsored dog or cat will be sent to the sponsor. Stay tuned for more information.

Thank you Ray Irving for your donation towards the care of Andrea! IRO will make sure the the fund will go towards her food and continuous medical care. Thank you also for your generous heart and sincere love for animals. (Nena Hernandez, President; 4 June, 2011)
